I was
given some of the new Timeless paper from one of Kaisercrafts new May ranges by
Nicole at Scrapbooks from the Heart, where I work. I knew straight away which photos I wanted to
put on this paper. They are of my
Grandfather when he was in the Navy, in the war. The bottom photo was taken in 1942 and he is
standing in a bomb crater.
I started
this page at work the other day but didn’t get to finish it. I wouldn’t allow myself to do anything
creative until I had finished an assignment as I have been putting them off and
telling myself they were ‘too hard’. But
today while both kids were at school, I sat and did it. No noise, no distractions, just me and the books.
As soon as
I had finished I grabbed this page and finished it while I still had the ideas
in my head. I have cut the anchor out on
the Cricut from the ‘Pack Your Bags’ cartridge and then crackle painted it and
finished it off with a bit of gold rub n buff.
I loved
putting this page together. I have some
things from the other 2 May ranges for Kaisercraft to play with, so let’s hope
they go together as easily as this one.
Thanks for
stopping by
Danielle
