Tayla's Birthday Present

Yesterday was my niece, Tayla's, 5th Birthday and I made her this cute little Kaisercraft Handbag Tidy. I have painted it in Kaisercraft Hot Pink acrylic paint, covered it with Kaisercraft La Di Da papers, glued it all together and then filled it with hair lackies and hair clips for her to put on top of her dresser draws. It's nice and bright for a little girls bedroom.

And this is the card I made for her from the left over papers. I have distressed around the edges of the pink and purple papers and I ran the white Bazzill card through the Cuttlebug, using the Divine Swirls die, which I have to say is my favourite.

I just really wanted to show off these photos of Chloe and how grown up our baby girl is now, I can't believe she is going to be 5 in a few months.

This afternoon the kids thought it would be funny to wear their hats backwards and play around, so when I asked if we should take photos they were both front and centre for a change.

Chloe had heaps of fun and I got quite a few pics of her, but Luke wasn't overly fussed once I got the camera out. Anyway, I showed them how to do the homey-rapper pose and this is what they came up with.

Thats it for tonight, I have been taking Luke to swimming lessons this week and he is absolutely loving it. In his second lesson he was kicking and moving along in the water all by himself with his arm floaties on and when he got to the side was asking to do it again, which is great and his teacher says he is doing really well seeing as he has never done lessons before.

Bathtime at Bremer

I love these 2 photos of the kids having their baths while we were camping down at Bremer over New Year.. And yep they are in a sink outside our friends caravan and they loved every minute of it.

First Post

Ok, so this is the first post on my first ever blog, I'm not really sure what I'm doing but will learn along the way.

I have started this blog up so family and friends can see what we have been up to and photos of our family and our goings on and also to add photos of my scrapbooking and cards and other creations.
