New Kaisercraft Goodies

Hi there,
I'm back after being MIA for a few weeks. I have been studying, so I was trying to stay away from the scrap table to avoid temptation. But Jenae at Scrapbooks from the Heart , where I work, gave me some of the new Kaisercraft Hippy Girl range to have a play with. It's a great bright funky range and I had so much fun playing with it.

For my first layout have used a red Bazzill cardstock as the base and cut strips from the Spirit page and cut a flower from one of the tags from the great new Tags books that Kaiser are now doing. I also glimmer misted one of the wooden leaves with Olive Vine. My title was cut on the cricut using the Lyrical Letters cartridge. The ribbons tied around the middle border stip are also new from Kaiser, they are the Organza ribbons and they are just so pretty. Other bits and pieces I used were Hippy Girl black rub ons and Die Cut elements pack.

Next up is this gorgeous photo of Luke that a friend of mine, Peta, took. We went to her house a few Sundays ago to have some family photos taken and Luke loved every minute of it.

I have also used the Hippy Girl range on this layout of Luke. I set myself the challenge of using this range for a boys layout and I think it turned out pretty well.
For this one I have used the same piece of Spirit paper, black rub ons, Die Cut embellishments, a wooden leaf I glimmer misted (yep, I LOVE that stuff) with Peppermint Stick, Kaiser Organza Ribbon and I cut the leaves in the bottom left corner out of Earth paper from the Hippy Girl range too. The lettering for the title is some Prima alphas. And some rhinestones I already had.

And lastly,
I really enjoyed doint this page. This is another photo taken by Peta when we were doing our family photos. Chloe had been a bit upset and didn't want photos taken because she was scared of the bush, but as you can see, it didn't last for long thanks to the help of Peta's girls helping her to feel safer and not so afraid.
I cut the corner flowers out of the Luna page. It was in the bottom corner, but I decided to cut it out and put it onto another page. The orange is from the back of the Luna paper. Hippy Girl rubons and Die cut embellishment and the journalling tag is from the tags book. I cut the title out with Cuttlebug font Hippy Chic, I thought it was appropriate with Hippy Girl papers. And the butterfly is from Twiddleybitz and yep you guessed it, I glimmer misted it, no surprises there lol I used Deep Plum, such a pretty colour.
Thats it for today. Back to studying. But hopefully it wont be so long in between posts this time. I have gotten my mojo back now.
Until next time, hope you are all having a great week
Danielle
